Why is Jim Jordan failing to investigate Musk's drug use while employed

as a government employee? Massive drug use by a person who was given access to American’s personal data is a lot more dangerous to the American public than Hunter Biden’s drug use who was not a government employee.

Rhetorical I know but man is the press useless when it comes to holding anyone to account in this Mal administration. Republicans know Musk was drugged out of his mind in the Oval Office.

Because he's a user too? Though from the look of his off shade, he's probably using meth.

And, take a breathalyzer test every time they walk into their jobs. Every damn one of them, top to bottom, is a substance abuser, whether it's the Adderall and other shit Trump snorts (allegedly), or the booze the Defense Secretary consumes.

... as in, he never collected a real paycheck and he was never hired by Uncle Sam. It was their explanation as to why he never had to answer to anyone for all the destruction he caused. Works for other bad behavior too, like drugs for example.

That lets the Repuke Congress off the hook for everything Musk did.

Expecting him to deal properly with Musk's drug addiction is about as realistic as believing trump can go an entire day without telling a lie.

It's a district that has voted Republican in all but 5 terms since 1915. He was elected to investigate Hillary and Biden's dog, not turn a watchful eye to Republican corruption.

The wider--and much more disturbing--question is why we find ourselves as a nation in a position where constituents do not demand that their representatives do what's right for America rather than what is politically advantageous for their party? It is complicated, yes; but democracy does not work when people are willing to put morality aside to get what they want politically--even when that is just cheaper eggs.
