We know more about Biden's prostate than we do about that guy who allegedly tried to assassinate Trump.
We know more about Biden's prostate than we do about that OTHER guy who allegedly tried to assassinate Trump.
We know more about Biden's prostate than we do about Trump's tax returns.
We know more about Biden's prostate than we do about what Trump gave the Qataris in exchange for that gaudy, gauche, grotesque $400 million gold-plated bribe.
We know more about Biden's prostate than we do about what private information Trump's DOGE agents took from the Social Security Administration and the IRS. In fact, we know more about Biden's prostate than we do about that 22-year-old DOGE agent, Big Balls, who's currently porting our personal information to Elon Musk's corporate hard drives.
We know more about Biden's prostate than why the Saudis' gave Trump's son-in-law a $2 billion "loan."
We know more about Biden's prostate than Trump's shady $2 billion crypto scam.
We know more about Biden's prostate than the details of Trump's secret Central American gulag.
We know more about Biden's prostate than we do about why Trump appeared so many times on Jeffrey Epstein's flight logs.
And yet, somehow, Biden's prostate is the single most important thing the media can think of right now. It's all-consuming. It's the single most important topic to Republicans and the MAGA money machine, and it's as if none of them know just how many men have prostate cancer and live with it every day while going about their jobs and lives without it affecting their cognitive or physical abilities in any fashion whatsoever.
In fact, it's a pretty good bet that a significant fraction of those men currently questioning Biden's cancer diagnosis have prostate cancer themselves -- and know it, and are hiding it from the public because it's not relevant to the performance of their jobs.
But then, that's not even in the top 10 when it comes to the hypocrisy of politics.
The confusion on Republicans' part might be the cancer's location.
And the fact they perpetually have their collective heads firmly up their asses.
But I digress.
Here's the thing: voters and the Democratic Party leaders asked Biden to drop out.
So he did.
And THEN you had a chance to vote for someone who embraced many, if not most, of your values,
who wasn't a goddamn fascist, and most of all who was young and fit -- except it turns out health really wasn't the issue, was it?
Biden's health issues don't explain why you didn't show up.
And, no, health really isn't the issue at all.
But keep flogging that dead horse; it's not entirely glue yet. I'm sure the press and the pundits and the politicians can squeeze it for another few grubby dollars.

(3,073 posts)I think you are correct. This reads very much like his style of writing. I love his writing and he also takes gorgeous photos. I began reading his essays back when he was still living in Alaska.
To any DUers who aren't familiar with his writing, I can highly recommend him.
Jim Wright also has a website, called Stonekettle Station, where his longer essays are archived. He can be found on a podcast, with David Gerrold ( a sci-fi writer, who also wrote for Star Trek). The podcast is broadcasted on the last Sunday of the month. The host is B Cubed press.
Please credit Jim when quoting him. He's a retired veteran and his writing is one way that he generates income. He also has an Etsy store where he sells prints of his photos, calendars, and beautiful hand made pens that he crafts from wood.

(6,873 posts)Its a 100 megaton truth bomb of a list, all of it. The focus on Joe Bidens cancer is nothing but a puerile diversion to keep us from focusing on those inconvenient other truths, which are glaringly obvious symptoms of the lethal disease they have unleashed on our democracy and which is a genuine threat to the lives and well-being of each of us😡

(1,221 posts)Having said that, it is too late contest the election. Short of a person that was directly involved in stealing the election comes out with irrefutable evidence, there will never be a credible investigation. Otherwise, calls for investigation will just be seen as sour grapes, fake news, Trump derangement syndrome, etc.

voters and the Democratic Party leaders asked Biden to drop out
Republicans and the very media that they own thats currently enthralled with his prostate is who lead the incessant drumbeat for him to step down but this implies it was just Democrats.
All of this preceding narrative leads to yet another way to blame Democrats. Fuck that.

(And I suspected it from the beginning.)
