This is poor theater at best. Krasnov is trying to insulate himself from personal responsibility. That has been a common behavior his entire life. It is why he always claims to not know what DHS and ICE are doing.

I’m sure Hitler would have claimed the Holocaust stemmed solely from Himmler and Heydrich’s orders. Plausible deniability.

That is what he’s trying to establish.
