Norma Meras Swenson who was a co-founder of "Our Body Ourselves", and Susan Brownmiller who wrote "Against Our Will". Each of these ladies did much to influence the lives of women. They were both 90 years old, this 75 yo is grateful for their work.

(5,674 posts)Both strong leaders and role models. They created and shared information that was important for my generation and myself. Lost both of those books along the way somehow. I had a bad habit of loaning books. Often to people I knew I probably wouldnt see again. I had the means to buy them the least I could do was share with others.
