NYT: Criticism of Trump Was Removed From Spiegleman Documentary on Public Television

The executive producer of the Emmy Award-winning “American Masters” series insisted on removing a scene critical of President Trump from a documentary about the comic artist Art Spiegelman two weeks before it was set to air nationwide on public television stations.

Scarring organizations into self censorship is still censorship.

Definitely a terrible decision to censor your own production. Art Spiegelman has had his book censured and banned…. But don’t upset the ketchup king. It might make him throw things. And defund your company.
