In a week where the now openly racist Trump administration ambushed the South African delegation in the Oval Office with a torrent of falsehoods and accusations, where Trump held a pay-for-play event in direct defiance of the emoluments clause of the U.S. Constitution, where Trump basically declared de facto war on Harvard University, and where the House snuck through a massive bill that will defang federal courts, gut social services (including Medicare), and conduct "the largest transfer of wealth from the lower classes to the upper five percent in the history of the nation," what did PBS's show choose to devote their entire half-hour to?
It was celebrity journalists Alex Thompson and Jake Tapper furthering their ego-ballooning gossip about Joe Biden's fitness for office in 2023 and 2024.
Is the topic worthy of study for historical sake? Yes. Does it merit the entirety of a show as the nation continues its plummet into autocracy and insolvency? Not in the slightest.

But let's focus on Biden who is NOT IN OFFICE NOW.
