PA-07, PA-08, PA-10: Affordable PA Initiative Sets $2M To Hold Mackenzie, Bresnahan, Perry Accountable

The Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy (CFFE) announced a $2 million initiative called Affordable Pennsylvania aimed at holding three Eastern PA congressional members accountable for abandoning their constituents’ needs and raising costs for working families. The intention is that by elevating local voices and stories, these members will reverse course.

CFFE’s Pennsylvania arm – Family Friendly Pennsylvania – is led by Rachele Fortier and believes that candidates need to hear directly from voters during elections about the economic issues that matter most in their lives.

To that end, the organization says Reps. Rob Bresnahan (R-08), Ryan Mackenzie (R-07), and Scott Perry (R-10) have remained silent as President Donald Trump unilaterally imposed the largest one-off tax hike on Americans since the Vietnam War. Affordable PA will hold them accountable for voting to slash health care funding, drive up the cost of groceries, and jeopardize Social Security.

The CFFE says on its website that the trio each voted for a bill that is guaranteed to cut Medicaid and Medicare benefits, while allowing the Trump administration to unilaterally impose unprecedented tariffs that are driving up costs for everyday goods.
