Last night in the dead of night, as Washington States legislative Republican communications staff like to say in their propaganda pieces Donald Trump signed an illegal executive order attempting to force the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to stop funding the Public Broadcasting Service and National Public Radio.
This morning, each of them responded with defiance, which is a great sign.
First, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting
WASHINGTON, D.C, (May 2, 2025) Patricia Harrison, President and CEO of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), issued the following statement today regarding the Presidents Executive Order on public media:
CPB is not a federal executive agency subject to the Presidents authority. Congress directly authorized and funded CPB to be a private nonprofit corporation wholly independent of the federal government.

Things that a small-minded, ignorant, ugly, stinky, disgusting wannabe dictator will never understand.
I flick him off like a stink bug and spit in his general direction.
