Where when Trump was too lazy to handle something or the problem looked too hard, he dumped it on Jared last term. Jared won't touch Trump 2.0 with a ten foot pole. So now we get Rubio. A Jared lite that is in charge of everything and accomplishes little. Rubio hope he lines his pockets as well as Jared did.

They appear to have assumed that if they voted for Trump's more "reasonable" nominees, their Republican colleagues would help defeat the worst nominees: RFK, Jr., Gabbard, Hegseth.

As my Geometry teacher taught us, when you assume you make an "ass" of "u" and "me."

Did the Democratic leadership in the Senate make a bargain across the aisle that was broken by the Rs? If so they've been silent and protected the bullies. My guess is they didn't even try.

I'd assume so. It sounds unfair at first, but since he is the (temp) head of those two agencies I don't see why he wouldn't get paid for it.
