Maybe it is my media diet, or maybe my prediction/intuition is wrong, but it seems

to me that there should be a heck of a lot more media/public people shouting that a generalized economic calamity is bearing down on us all, which cannot be avoided even if The Convicted Felon were to reverse his various policies and decisions to date.

The ball is rolling downhill now, picking up speed, and there is no un-nudging possible at this point or any future one. Disaster is inevitable, and so many people are sleepwalking.

They're waiting for the shanty towns and families piled into trucks looking for a place to stay.
Oh, the heartfelt stories, the Clicks, the Ad revenue...
Until there's no one to buy the products for the ads, and no one can afford WiFi or cable/streaming service but the very few in their ratified circle of fellow travelers.
It's called "eating seed corn". Hoping for catastrophe so they can be the center of desperate attention, breathlessly reporting and opining on the disaster porn "reality show" around them .. "stay tuned to see what really happens"

Utter, ghoulishly cynical waste of a journalism or communications degree.

Stated that when “they” voted for Trump, they knew he would fu-k up everything. They knew exactly what he was but their goal was to have Trump just basically destroy the nation. She was not clear to me on what the purpose was or what she expected aside from destruction.

You are right, the ball is now going downhill and there is no turning back; there is not enough momentum to reverse the direction. And, sadly, all our friends have had no choice but to turn their backs to us.

The young lady may get what ‘they’ wanted but I wonder does she realize what she has not only given up and what she personally will receive.

In 30 days it will become apparent.

In 60 days millions will be joining the unemployment line.

In 90 days, there will be rioting.

Even if he ordered the US Military to start flying relieve missions, it’s still going to be too late. He’s broken it. Busted. Disturbed. The forces of the mar it will jack prices through the roof, nobody will be able to afford anything, and the economy is going to crash pretty dog gone hard.

I just hope (R)’s in Congress aren’t too proud to reverse course, and impeach and remove him.
Because he’s destroyed our standing in the world, and we are about to become a lowly 3rd world banana republic.

And he is the monkey.

It became clear Trump was only making things worse, much worse, and a shitstorm was about to hit. Just like now. Only this time, he single-handedly caused the disaster, he can't blame a virus.

We are about to hit an iceberg.
