"But we're citizens!"

It is like saying to the KKK "but we're white!"
Or saying to the the Gestapo "but we're Christians!"
Saying to ICE "but we're citizens!"

Not only is it a tacit acceptance of ICEs treatment of non-citizens, it is a glaring example of how far down the fascist road we are, not will be, are.

it has been done, we don't know how many people have been dragged from their homes, out of their work places, off the streets. I think many of us recognize it could happen to any of us at any time.

It's how many are eager and willing to mask up and terrorize others without a court order.

You just know that at their trial, one of them will say the famous words,
I was only following orders!
