God didn't want automaton humans, and so can't go against his own creation of humans with free will.

God also makes sure that those who don't align their free will with his (if they want to exist with him in eternity) will be sent to exist in their own eternal loss and suffering in the darkness of their own making.

Right now in eternity, He sees everything in the eternal now, and His description above is perfect.
