I feel like the Biden Administration felt like the work would speak for itself and that he didn't need to be in front of the camera all the time, but that is not how our current world works. And in this moment where your record is being maligned you have to speak out or it plays to the American people as a tacit admission that what is being said is true.

They routinely refused to even utilize favorable media for the most part.

Before his fifteen minute call into Morning Joe when his campaign was spiraling last summer, the last time Biden even granted MSNBC an interview was his interview shortly after the SOTU in 2024 with Jonathan Capehart. Before that, it was his interview with Nicolle Wallace in June...2023.

It's a big reason the age issue plagued Biden for most the campaign because they failed to effectively combat it.

Press conferences can be brutal.

Even his speech a couple weeks ago on Trump and Social Security was a struggle for him to get through.

I saw an economist speak on Today show this morning. She basically said this economy is trumps economy, not Biden’s economy. She blamed it on the tariffs.

IF he wanted to though... A once-a-week "I-fucking-told-you-so" press release would be just fine by me.
