(69,094 posts)Saying Biden had the most robust economy, he achieved a miracle
turning the Trump economy around.
But of course anyone who speaks out will get death threats so we will
probably hear crickets.

(34,277 posts)first bad economy around. Sure Trump was dealing with a deadly pandemic, but his stupid leadership dragged it out longer than it had to be. Now thanks to President Biden he was handed another strong economy and it only took weeks for Trump to destroy it. Now the idiot is blaming President Biden for his economic disaster. Go figure. . .

(69,094 posts)Dems always have to do clean up on aisle 14 and refill the piggy bank.
Rinse and Repeat.
But GOP pretends that they are the fiscally responsible ones.
Damn liars.

(5,206 posts)If you let the liar run roughshod, you pay the price.
This is a MOMENT -- when forceful action (calling out the lie and liar) will have ongoing impact.
Do it. Every single Dem Senator and Rep should join the chorus.
Call out The Liar (R) now, loud and clear and strong.
SocialDemocrat61
(4,331 posts)But they are private citizens. Stop telling other people what they should be doing. That's what dictators do.

you choose to display your displeasure of having to answer your own self inflicted irony, by you "sighing" in a visual manner.
huh, that's kinda weak and actually has become very lame way to respond.
but you know, potato potato.
but it was fun playing, even though you know you were caught in an irony trap made by yourself.
Cheers and Ta!

(5,490 posts)There is just so much shunning a human being can take.
And the shunning came from within.
He will probably make a statement when he is ready if that happens.
I abhor ageism. I am intimately familiar with it and endure it often.

(24,399 posts)He told us this would happen. Kamala told us this would happen. So now these two should tell us these things that they said would happen are happening? The MSM didnt care before and they wont care now.

(160 posts)...in an active way like F-47 does. I don't mean get out there and lie about your own accomplishments and your opponents' supposed failures, but take questions and make news cycles by talking to the American public. I feel like the Biden Administration felt like the work would speak for itself and that he didn't need to be in front of the camera all the time, but that is not how our current world works. And in this moment where your record is being maligned you have to speak out or it plays to the American people as a tacit admission that what is being said is true.
Contrary to what we've been told: the truth really does not speak for itself....

(2,098 posts)They held fewer interviews and press conferences than any president going back to at least Ford.
They routinely refused to even utilize favorable media for the most part.
Before his fifteen minute call into Morning Joe when his campaign was spiraling last summer, the last time Biden even granted MSNBC an interview was his interview shortly after the SOTU in 2024 with Jonathan Capehart. Before that, it was his interview with Nicolle Wallace in June...2023.
It's a big reason the age issue plagued Biden for most the campaign because they failed to effectively combat it.

(2,098 posts)He has struggled in the last two high-profiled press conferences he's held (the one after the Hur report and the other with NATO allies when his campaign was collapsing).
I think it's time to concede Joe just doesn't have it anymore.
Even his speech a couple weeks ago on Trump and Social Security was a struggle for him to get through.

Yet he held fewer interviews and press conferences than any president since at least Ford.
Biden doesn't have the juice anymore. It doesn't diminish him as a person or what he's accomplished but it's clear he isn't capable of doing what he once was so good at doing.

Ringing Biden out does nothing except make this about Biden and Trump thats Trumps thing. No reason to give him more ammunition.

(30,823 posts)Kamala already went first. Time for Joe to wake up his Scranton Street Fighter roots and go all Rockem Sockem Robots on Trizzelshit.
What is there left to lose?
His silence is shocking. Some patriots would literally give their lives to keep fascists out of the country. Back in the day.

I saw an economist speak on Today show this morning. She basically said this economy is trumps economy, not Bidens economy. She blamed it on the tariffs.
