Jospeh Goebbels, Tell a lie that is big enough and tell it often enough and people
will believe it is true.

* except for eggs and with >120 million chickens dead from Avian Influenza “they” knew
those prices would go up. Funny we never heard about Avian Influenza until after Krasnov
was elected.

Democrat resurrects the economy, and Repugs & the media say it's thanks to the polices of their Repug predecessor.

Repug tanks the economy, and other Repugs & the media say it's due to the policies of their Democratic predecessor.

Democrat resurrects the economy...

It's been this way for more than half a century, at the very least.

Doesn't mean things were perfect, but the data was incredible. Real wage growth was higher for the bottom 50% than the top 10%. Median net worth broke records. The bottom 10% of wage earners saw the biggest real wage growth, wages for them grew far in excess of inflation. More people had health care than ever before. Unemployment was so low that workers were demanding and getting more and more. Literally for the first time in my 53 years on this planet, the poor got richer and the rich got poorer.

And all of this is why I think the billionaire class rallied around Trump. The conditions the Biden economy created gave more power to working people than they've had since WWII and this was wholly unacceptable to the owners of our country. So instead of bleeding working peole dry little by little over time, they instead picked Trump to take everything from working people all at once. Their entire house of cards is built on a terrified work force who will accept less and less for more and more work, Biden threatened that, so they backed Trump.

The media is owned b the billionaire class, so it's no surprise they ignored the miracle of the Biden Economy.

I think Biden spooked the wealthy - and that includes the owners of all the news and entertainment media.

They had to get rid of him. Biden was actually reversing Reaganomics.

Stories of workers asking for more and then quitting if they didn't get it because they knew they could easily find a better paying job. Those types of stories were freaking the billionaire class and FOX News right the hell out.

And I think the Work From Home fight because symbolic, it was symbolic of people wanting a better work life balance and more control over their lives. And the first thing Trump did when he took office was end work from home for hundreds of thousands of federal workers. I think people's take on the WFH debate were a little misplaced, it's not mostly about managers wanting more control and to keep people under their thumbs, it was always about squashing the audacity of working people to want a little better life for themselves. "work From Home? Next thing they'll be asking for better pay and retirement." Corporations don't care if people work from home from a bottom line perspective, they know people can be as productive and long term better employees working from home. It was never about productivity, it was always about taking away hope from working people.
