GDP numbers are worse seeing demand destruction began in Jan not March
I posted in Feb that consumer demand for Jan had fell nearly 10% YoY in Jan alone.
https://www.reuters.com/markets/us/us-consumer-spending-falls-january-monthly-inflation-rises-2025-02-28/
Along with the The current GDP numbers there's no reporting of consumer volume yet iinm.
So bottom line take out front loading spending after Trumps Trade War and the GDP falls even further.
Second quarter is going to be a GDP negative also after tariffs START to kick in to small business shelves.
Save for months to come it's going to get rough
