Is it possible for Democratsin the house , to bring a bill to the floor (getting rethugs on record) to impeach TSF IF

The president is in FULL CONTEMPT of a supreme court decision? I'm thinking one after another doing this.

Johnson controls what reaches the floor for a vote.

Once Dems retake the house, then impeachment is an option, although I’m not sure Jefferies has the gumption to pursue it. Other than that, Dems will be limited to obstructing Trump’s legislative agenda until 2029.

Only if a major system like SS or Medicare collapses will there be a possibility of getting enough Republican votes to repeal harmful legislation and override a Trump veto.

Really pound on it. Make it a HUGE ISSUE before the 26 election.

then two-thirds of the Senate. The Democratic party doesn't have the numbers in either house. It is not possible. Could they get enough Republicans to join them? The Republicans know that oiligarch money will primary them so that they will lose their seats if they go against Trump. And the Republicans know that if they go against Trump they and their families will have to literally look behind every bush for some maga crazy waiting to attack them.

Still, impeachment is in the Constitution and the Democratic elected representatives should at least try to use it. Get the Republicans names down for history as refusing to impeachment Trump. If the tool is not used it becomes useless.

The Senate holds the trial.

It is very unlikely until after the midterms ( Jan 2027 ) that articles of impeachment will pass the House.

I think it is still worth doing, especially to bring light and media coverage of deporting citizens and legal residents without due process.

... where John Thune is gate keeper. The effort would have to be bipartisan and large.
