Meidas Touch Dem Gov Town Hall Reaches #1 Stream on All of YouTube this evening

LOS ANGELES, CA — The MeidasTouch Network once again proved the power of pro-democracy media by hosting the #1 livestream across all of YouTube tonight with its historic Democratic Governor Virtual Town Hall. The groundbreaking event featured Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey, and New York Governor Kathy Hochul — all live and unfiltered, exclusively on the MeidasTouch YouTube channel.

Moderated by MeidasTouch co-founder Ben Meiselas, the four governors laid out their plans to combat Trump’s disastrous first 100 days back in office and protect democracy at the state level.

In a first-of-its-kind moment, questions from grassroots MeidasTouch supporters—known as the Meidas Mighty—took center stage. Viewer-submitted video questions were featured during the event, making this not just a conversation about the people—but with the people.

Usually you don't get a group of Governors from different states together on a podcast where people can ask them questions. I thought it was really well done. They need to do more of them.

There are a lot of videos on YouTube so if the townhall won the streaming prize for the night that is fantastic! Nearly 30,000 live viewers for a political podcast is a lot. Over the course of the next few days that number will grow substantially as clips make their way onto other social media and people seek out the entire segment.
