PA-10: Janelle Stelson (D) 'strongly considering' rematch against US Rep. Scott Perry

Central Pennsylvania could be in for a rare Congressional rematch in 2026.

U.S. Rep. Scott Perry, at this point, is considered likely to run for an eighth term in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2026.

And former television newscaster Janelle Stelson is telling Democratic Party leaders, former primary rivals and others that she is “strongly considering” challenging Perry again.

She came the closest of any of his opponents. She has good name recognition and he’s been on the run and actually did an online town hall. He usually does nothing. Also, she has a campaign under her belt now so she’s not a newbie.

Stelson barely lost in 2024. Perry is nowhere to be seen. Trump disgust ought to propel Stelson into a victory next year. Perry - a devoted Trump flunkie- is an embarrassment to this district, which includes the capital of PA.
