bought a new made in china box fan today to beat the tariffs.....

old one from china lasted 10 years. it was running really slow until it got up to speed. new one today same price as the old one 10 years ago.

New one: no handle on sticking up on top, now flush on back. must use 2 hands to move it if running. No speed knob on top. its now flush and inset on the back so u need to hold the fan with one hand while changing speed (for safety). New power cord much thinner and kinkier, plastic. Old cord thicker and rubber like so it laid flat and smooth.

old one - put out with trash and sign explaining its condition. it was gone in 2 hours. probably a simple r epair

Low priced quality goods (likely made by pseudo slave labor). Now, higher priced lousy goods (likely made by the same slave labor). "So it goes"...Vonnegut....
