Raw Story - 'Make Magic Great Again?' Internet laughs at White House briefing with 'Temu Draco Malfoy'

A MAGA influencer and former adviser to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. sat in on Tuesday's White House news briefing and asked a question that prompted those around him to laugh and online observers to wonder if it was a skit from "Saturday Night Live."

Among the comments made by influencer Link Lauren was that former President Joe Biden was responsible for rising suicide rates. In September, U.S. News and World Report cited data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showing 2022 suicide rates were their highest in decades after they went down in the two previous years.

According to an internal document reviewed by CNN last week, President Donald Trump's administration is considering eliminating the 988 Suicide Prevention and Crisis Lifeline's specialized services for LGBTQ+ youth.

The bright blond hair prompted viewers to question whether Lauren was "Harry Potter" character Draco Malfoy. Others called him a "Temu Draco Malfoy."

Former congressional candidate Christopher Hale posted an image of a blond guy wearing a red hat reading "Make Magic Great Again" and a "Support Purebloods" poster behind him. It's another reference to the magical series, where villains are obsessed with blood purity.
