NY Times finds 12 of the STUPIDEST people alive that swung to Trump in 2024 and how they see him now.

Has anything that’s happened over the 100 days of the Trump presidency made you change your mind about Trump, for good or for ill?

Meagan, 37, Texas, white, small-business owner
I love what he’s doing with the government and cleaning up spending. But things like immigration, where I feel like we’re spending a lot of money to ship people back to countries and they’re taxpayers and they’re members of our community and constitutional rights are being violated — that’s a mess. It’s a mixed bag.

Brian, 50, California, white, TV production
I remember thinking, “I’m worried he’ll go too far.” And 100 days in, I guess I’m worried he’s going to go too far.

Jessica, 37, Virginia, Black, administrative assistant
Me, too.

Mark, 61, Florida, white, controller
He’s doing what he said he would do. He’s actually following through on his promises.

Mark, 61, Florida, white, controller
I said he’s following through on what he said he would do. When was the last time we had a politician that did that?

Jessica, 37, Virginia, Black, administrative assistant
I definitely said to myself, “How is it that the first seven days he’s in office, things are happening and Biden went through almost his entire term with nothing happening?”

Chris, 34, Georgia, white, aviation
I couldn’t believe the first week. I was like, “Wow, a president can do stuff.”

And people that think that all of the support has (miraculously) washed away ... Because - polls. Are deluding themselves once again. The morons didn't just suddenly fade away. Ignorance, racism, nativism, a simple minded "blame the government" mind set, and garden variety hatefulness and mean spirtedness - are all alive and well, and still selling very well in this country.

(we really need to roll out a vaccine for our sickness .. )

For his destructive policies. They even found a couple of token black women,DEI. Why are they trying to help a cretin who is against everything America is supposed to stand for?

That support trump. The New York Times is not an unbiased source. Black women supported vice president Harris in larger numbers than any other group.

Biden was a competent administrator. He understood that most government leadership involves things that don't make the lede on CNN but still need to be done. He also understood that he was attacking a lot of sacred cows, especially with respect to not coddling the overly privileged and those who were profiteering off the aftermath of the Pandemic. Democrats ordinarily prefer this low key approach to governing, because it means that the ship is being handled deftly.

Republicans, by and large, both tend to believe they are smarter than they are and usually believe that leadership involves being at the front of the parade, taking command, looking important. They also assume that others in their country club or church are just like them, and are usually far more focused on themselves than they are on others. They see lots of action as meaning a lot gets done, rather than as thrashing about in an attempt to keep people distracted.

These are people that don't pay a lot of attention to government except in the week or so leading up to the election, then they promptly forget about it again. So long as the president is DOING SOMETHING, he's doing his job, even if that something is robbing them blind and steering the country off a cliff.

apparently paid no attention to the Biden administration. I cannot believe she thinks Biden did nothing when he was in office. One important thing he did was the infrastructure deal. Trump went through his for years saying he would address that and get a bill passed and he did not. Also Biden helped seniors by getting a drug bill passed that would limit to $2000 how much you pay out of pocket for prescription drugs. That one has helped me tremendously. The first script I bought this year was an expensive one, Humira. I paid sixty dollars and the insurance picked up the rest of it, so far all my other prescriptions I have bought this year I have paid nothing.

Worse than the rest of those other boobs' comments. I can believe that she was oblivious to Biden's accomplishments, because it's pretty obvious she only listens to right-wing propaganda. Or, she didn't pay attention to the news at all.

This “focus group” moderated by Frank Luntz (R) has been used for years to bash democrats and boost the Felon 47.
Some of the faces look the same as the participants in past years. They truly are dumb and uninformed. Probably all picked by Luntz.
