Does President Trump create problems, so he can claim he has a solution by backing off

Seriously.. take tariffs.. he puts them on and 2 days later he is doing everyone a favor by taking them off..

He got rid of NAFTA, then rebranded it USMCA last term.. and then got rid of it this term.. tariffs of all the car makers and today he is going to Michigan to take them off..

Crisis in a can.. the great re-brander

2. I don't think so; he's too impulsive. And he's been obsessed with tariffs for years.

He only pulls them back when he gets enough blowback from the money men.

I remember LBJ "leaking" that he was going to send something like 100,000 more troops to Vietnam which triggered outrage. A few days later he announced that he was going to send "only" 50,000 and most people were relieved that he was going to send "only" 50k to provide cannon fodder for a lost war.

Despite his Im a dictator image. Recent interviews with Trump make him seem like he is marginalized in his own White House. Every Sleepy Joe fear, appears to be true with Trump. Who is running what and whose policies are we following and what information is getting to the president? We don't fucking know.

Trump seems generally surprised by his deep unpopularity as if he had no idea the things happening are awful.

"Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender" (DARVO) - very abusive & manipulative. A technique often used in Cults.

His goal which is successful is to take oxygen away from any/ all Democratic activities and/ or messages. This is not new behavior ..It's just being called out in legacy media because they have a dog in this plan....

blows up they can do that retreat and spin maneuver. But I don't think he is engaging in that three/four step planning. He's a crooked dumb asshole, not a long term strategist.

11. All the time. It's called a "straw-man argument." Present a problem that doesn't exist, and fix it.

I think he really believes his crazy ideas will work and when they don’t, he pulls back and declares victory anyway.
