'We're citizens!': Oklahoma City family traumatized after ICE raids home, but they weren't suspects

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A woman says her family’s fresh start in Oklahoma turned into a nightmare after federal immigration agents raided their home, taking their phones, laptops, and life savings – even though they were not the suspects the agents were looking for.

The agents had a search warrant for the home, but the suspects listed on the warrant do not live in the house.

The woman who actually lives in the house had just moved to Oklahoma City from Maryland with her family about two weeks earlier.

The woman, who News 4 will refer to as “Marisa”, and her three daughters came to Oklahoma looking for a slower, more affordable pace of life.

I spent a year, one month in a red state. It was the most fucked-up place I had ever been, and "yes"! that one month felt like a fucking year.

I got out of there as fast as my car could handle the shitty, pock-marked roads.

The "slower pace of life", is just for the rich, white racists. The rest of the folks better keep their heads on a swivel.

Any normal person would have said something like "prove who you are" (she talks about gas money, so I guess she had a driving license in the house), and then said they were looking for the previous occupants. But these criminals decided to steal her possessions and money instead. They know they're protected (hey, the Big Rapist Boss has just arranged pro bono representation for them in case someone manages to take their thuggery to court!)

I'm sure they went away and laughed. And quite possibly got a sexual thrill from turning a woman and children out onto the street in what they were sleeping in. And the fuckers know they'll get away with it.
