Trump asks Bondi and Hegseth to look into using Military for domestic crime

President Donald Trump directed Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to determine how the U.S. military could be used for domestic law enforcement on Monday.

In an executive order titled, “Strengthening and Unleashing America’s Law Enforcement to Pursue Criminals and Protect Innocent Civilians,” Trump issued several directives, including the establishment of a legal defense mechanism for law enforcement officers and a crackdown on state and local officials who “willfully and unlawfully direct the obstruction of criminal law, including by directly and unlawfully prohibiting law enforcement officers from carrying out duties.”

The president also ordered Hegseth and Bondi to “determine how military and national security assets” and personnel “can most effectively be utilized” to prevent crime: https://www.mediaite.com/politics/trump-orders-hegseth-and-bondi-and-to-determine-how-military-can-be-used-in-domestic-law-enforcement/

His plan is to put this in 5th gear and then let off the brake.

That big-ass brick wall in front of him says 'Posse Comitatus, dumbass'

It falls under the Posse Comitatus Act — glad you made your post, bcs I just searched both LBN & GD under that title and got nada.

Kinda stunned here — but not entirely surprised, because as the USSR showed in Berlin, a Wall keeps people IN as well as OUT. (Also, I told ya so)

So, kicking this hoping for an extended discussion. And kicking this once again for our Rachel, a certified member of the MSM, who is sounding every alarm like a klaxon.

I'm sure they'll find the section in the Constitution that allows previously convicted criminals to completely ignore any law when it's an official act! They've already shown themselves to be hyper-observant and brilliant.

15. Fracture in the Military

If Trump orders the military to act as domestic police inside the country, it may cause a fracture in the military. They are explicitly trained to not execute these kind of clearly illegal orders. There will be officers that know clearly that these are legally questionable orders at best. They will have to make a choice. Support a dictator or stick to their oath and their honor. Malcolm Nance, retired Navy Chief and Intelligence Specialist, talks about this. If you are not familiar with him, he is worth watching. You can find his videos on YouTube and his writing on Substack.

Anyway, this is a dire situation that could lead to a Fascist Police State and a possible Civil Conflict. Also, there are probably some Blue State Governors that are not going to just roll over and take this. If the Trump Regime arrests an elected official, then it may be too late. They have already arrested a Judge as a test case. I would put nothing past these fascists.

Military instead of local police, state police, or even FBI?

Larceny? Robbery? Assault? Kidnapping? Property damage? Blasphemy (it's coming, trust me)? Shitshaming TSF?

do you stop saying that "we are coming close to a dictatorship," or we are appoaching a police state?" It's almost as if we are hoping against it, or are not willing to say that we are already in it. At what point do you examine the facts and come up with "trump is a dictator?"

I want to know because trump is my first dictator here in person. As far as I can see, he is one already!

Surely, at the point where he disappeared people without due process and then defied the courts when they ordered him to stop and reverse the process, that qualifies as a decidedly dickish thing he did? How about arresting that judge in her own courtroom without a warrant of arrest? How about when he took control of major private law firms for the crimes of...well, what? Etc.

He always uses misdirection to obtain a result, under the guise of "protecting citizens" (much like he feigned the illusion of "protecting women"--eewwww--in order to reduce them to property.) It is the flimsiest of excuses to enable him to deploy martial law without a declaration.

Every day, a fresh hell. If it talks like a dictator, and walks like a dictator, why isn't it a dictator? People are still talking like he hasn't arrived. Remember, he said he would be a dictator on Day One. And, he is. I don't think it is helpful to say that he isn't yet one. I think there is a difference between his consolidation of power and his becoming one. He's just tightening the screws.

We have to get rid of him. Put him on a slow boat to China. We never should have let him back in the country.
