Quick UPDATE: Re The African American History Museum, and a removed item ...

I read way late last night that the
Greensboro Woolworth Boycotted Lunch Counter was not "removed": as in "gotten rid off" (by drumphf), per se - but returned to the Smithsonian 's Museum of American History.

And that museum (MOAH) is where I went to see it on a fun (vs dedicated march/protest) visit to DC after I read about it being placed there back in ?early ''90's, or late '80s.

They (MOAAH) keep 2 stools from it. Displaying one, and switching it out with the other for cleaning, etc.

Made me feel much better about that particular display!
