Trump claims to be suspecting that Putin may be playing games with him
These genius suspicions coincided with the conclusion of Trump's meeting with Zelensky in Rome.
You have to wade through a wordy mire of griping to get to it, but it's there in the last few sentences of this tweet:
With all that being said, there was no reason for Putin to be shooting missiles into civilian areas, cities and towns, over the last few days. It makes me think that maybe he doesn't want to stop the war, he's just tapping me along, and has to be dealt with differently, through "Banking" or "Secondary Sanctions?" Too many people are dying!!!
1. This conflicts with Witkoff's reports that his cosy chats with Putin are going swimmingly.
2. What the fuck has Trump been watching while Putin's been bombarding countless civilian areas, cities and towns in Ukraine since the beginning of the war - Gorilla Channel?
3. What would the "right" number of people dying be?
4. If he's so worried about Ukraine's civilian areas, cities and towns, how about doing a deal with Zelensky to let Ukraine buy those Patriot systems?
5. Supplying Ukraine with the backlog of aid lined up by Biden would send a clearer message to Putin.
