Sophia Rosing sentenced to 12 months in jail for that racist scuffle at Univ of Kentucky in 2022 that went viral

The former University of Kentucky student who was captured in a viral video attacking a Black student and calling her racial slurs numerous times has been sentenced for the assault.

Sophia Rosing will spend 12 months in jail, serve 100 hours of community service, and pay a $25 fine.

In August, the 23-year-old pleaded guilty to four counts of fourth-degree assault, one count of disorderly conduct, and one count of public intoxication.

She was arrested in November 2022 after going on a drunken, racist outburst and physically assaulting Kylah Spring, a desk clerk at the University of Kentucky who was a freshman at the time of the attack.

Cellphone video that was widely spread online captured the moments Rosing kicked, punched, and bit Springs, putting her in the national spotlight.

I have seen gun crimes get way less. I just want consistency in sentencing. It has nothing to to with this specific case. Not a fan of excessive prison sentences.

multiple times including once to the stomach. And don't forget the police officer who was attacked by this drunken maniac bigot.

Will you help the victim get over her possible PTSD?

If so, then give her my apologies too for what she had to go through.

Called her the N word 200 (not a typo) during the attack and told he to go "do her chores"

The police came and arrested her. She told the police it was ok, she has money and can make this all go away.

She also bit and punched the cops.

Instead of saying she should get less time, maybe people committing gun crimes should get more time.
